From my psychology book:
"Evolutionary psychologists suggest that fears such as those highlighted in Fear Factor may reflect natural selection. Susan Mineka suggests that humans (and nonhuman primates) are genetically predisposed to fear stimuli that may have threatened their ancestors. Evolutionary forces would have favored the survival of individuals who were predisposed toward acquiring fears of large animals, spiders, snakes, heights, entrapment, sharp objects, and strangers. Thus individuals who fearlessly encounter the potnetially harmful stimuli we see on Fear Factor may be at a disadvantage, evolutionarily speaking, rathar than at an advantage."
I knew it! Those people are dumb, and should be shot instead of given money, before they breed more dumb people.
Man I hate that show.

Kinda nifty to think we'd carry stuff over, from generation to generation, that'd pertain to something beyond physical traits.
